Welcome to the world of Pokemon...Mystery Dungeon! Our lovable scamp of a Snivy finds himself in a bit of a predicament: he used to be a human and he has amnesia. As he sets out on a journey to recover his memories, he is joined by Bell, the Meowth. She is quite knowledgeable, but has never ventured outside of her comfort zone before now. Will they be able to brave the trials ahead of them? Only time will tell...


As a bit of background, this story takes place after the last Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game, Super Mystery Dungeon. Due to the particular land this story is set in, I will be able to avoid most major story spoilers for those wonderful, wonderful games, but eventually, I will spoil a couple of the major twists in Gates to Infinity and Super Mystery Dungeon. If you have not played either game, I highly encourage you to play Super and maybe like, watch a playthrough of Gates. ...The gameplay in Gates is quite subpar compared to the rest of the series, I will concede that, but the story is fantastic, perhaps my favorite in the series. Which is saying something, given its predecessor, Explorers of Sky!
