I am highly interested in moral questions in their actions. The implications of destruction for nature to take over. Possibly literal genocide? What led to this? Like there's a whole moral spectrum I'd love to dive into @w@ It also creates so many possible stories for Cire and Behir to viewed as villainous as..well the destroyed band propably did o.o It would likely wrench your fanbases heart all over again to approach the final scenario from the other perspective.
The creatures are not inherently evil. The towns being destroyed are stereotypical DnD towns offering bounties for people to slay monsters. The adventuring party here showed up to come and slay the behir they were hired to kill. They got their just desserts, as it were.
