It's kinda annoying me a bit, that my eyes dont seem to be picking up certain colours in the way that they used to....I prolly need to get that checked out at some point, but its getting harder to distinguish certainly light colours apart and certain dark colours apart. Bleurgh

I struggle with that too! One thing I often do is just do that base colour in a dark colour so I can see all the bits I haven’t filled in. Then I colour that layer the correct colour after :3

Honestly, I think the only reason why I noticed the differences myself is because of an OLED screen. Color saturation is much greater.

I honestly think this is something we all tend to do when fixing colors on stuff. We're only human after all.

Couldn't tell ya how many times I've gaffed on minor details like that with the pixel art for my game. I always end up catching them when showcasing it to people too. XD

sarge is tiring to make a point very clear here, one that's partially right. he is the officer in command and he's the one taking the decisions. lack of discipline from lower grade officers can cause him to lose his position if let known to superiors.

The sarge is pretty insistent. Even with his rank he is not allowed to enter a Ladies' toilet. How brave of Yuri to defy his superior. He's risking his career for Star. If the sarge tried to report him for disobedience, but the reason behind it was a breach of privacy I don't think that would sit well with his own superiors.

In some military command structures, a guard overseeing a checkpoint temporarily and conditionally outranks everyone else on the base, all the way up to the generals and admirals. It's intended as a safeguard against somebody bluffing their way into secure areas with a really good disguise. Not sure if that's true in this setting, or if Yuri is technically a "guard" in that sense, but either way it still makes Yuri look much better by comparison. ("Bros before COs" and all that.)

Read through this comic over the last week or so and it's just lovely! Will definitely be following from now on. Really weird to see that Brits call their NCOs sir though XD.
