I drew most of the background. the idea is to get it done first, so that when i draw Sally, she will look clearer. I suppose this doesn't matter when the paint dries, but i'm trying to paint before it dries. Another thing, i've been using synthetic hog brushes, and i don't know if it's a hog brush thing or a merely the way the fibers are distributed on the brush, but it creates softer edges in general. Which is good when shading, but bad for the edges of any subject, since it'll slightly blend with the things around it.
