Have had a soft spot for large creatures wreaking havoc in technologically not super advanced armies since the good old days of the Black&White video game series.
Wanting to get something like that for a long time and actually ended up getting two separate pieces showing basically the same concept.
Must be a terrifying and very demoralizing experience, having such a beast land in the midst of your ranks, just clawing and swiping away at everything.
Sure he could just fly over, spitting fire, turning a large part of the army into mere cinder, but getting all close and personal instead, ends up leaving way more of an impression I guess.

Great angle and perspective
It just shows so well how BIG he is
A mountain of flesh, bone and scales heavy and strong just like one
And honestly with such sizes he can just roar to daze whole army or flap his wings to call a storm that will knock off everyone upclose

Hah yeah. He's really really big on this one. Quite accidentally, to be honest.
I never had him portrait that lorge before I think.
I suppose it makes him seem more like a force of nature. Like the really really big dragons of legends from LotR.
