Coeus gets into his spaceship and into his lab inside of that and starts making calculations right away. Within impressively just a matter of a couple of minutes, he figures out the math needed for multiversal communication and begins building a device for that immediately. However, once he puts it together and tries to use it, it behaves as if it can't even reach any other universe, though when Coeus checks his calculations, he can't find any error, now being able to conclude: "This Cronus threat... he went smart about it, making all the universes incapable of communicating directly with each other for exactly this kind of scenario, so that no information useful against him could be shared across universes..."
But Coeus isn't giving up just like that, quickly able to conclude that he simply needs to find a way to bypass this issue, like, getting the needed information to outside the multiverse and then back into it, into the anomaly universe. He can't get the info from here directly to that other specific universe, but Cronus may not have thought far enough to account for an alternate way of reaching that specific universe. Now the issue is just... someone outside the multiverse would need to essentially redirect the information to where it needs to go. But why would anyone be there?... Well, maybe someone actually is there, for whatever reason. So Coeus builds another device, but now one that's capable of life detection across the multiverse. And as a matter of fact, it lets him know that there are currently not just one but eight people right outside the multiverse, whatever kind of strange location that is. He tries to figure out who these people are by trying to reprogram the device to be able to read their DNA. He doesn't recognize any of them except... for Dione, of course. A surprising find for sure. This makes him note: "Huh... Maybe all of this has been connected all along."

That's when Charon, Dione, Higeki, Tethys, Oceanus and Pallas get back to Coeus's spaceship who knows it's best to just let them know about the current situation... even if that means letting them know about their inevitable demise. So he tells them. That is certainly bad news and they all react accordingly, a mix of fear and powerlessness. Though Pallas brings up: "Our lives... are doomed to be erased anyway, right? So we have to at least do whatever we can to minimize the damage Cronus is causing." Coeus agrees to that with a nod and - surprising the others - states: "Dione... you may be the key to that, even if I haven't fully figured out how yet." "W-Wait, what? Me?" "To put it simply... a version of you is right outside the multiverse right now. This may be our way to get the needed information into the anomaly universe."
So they get inside the spaceship, with Oceanus simply holding onto it again, before Coeus turns on his ship's autopilot for now so that he can focus more on figuring things out while the ship leaves Planet Araneaca's atmosphere.

As Coeus brings up again the need of sending a message to what he thinks is probably most appropriately called the Edge of Reality, Pallas - knowing a lot of places in the universe - suggests: "Fly to Planet Asofhertz. That planet is within a space of very peculiar spacetime distortion from what I've heard, so... this distortion could maybe be taken advantage of." "It could, yeah.", Coeus affirms. Hearing the name of that planet makes Dione question "Asofhertz? Like... Ace of Hertz? Like, Ace of Hearts? Is that planet's name a pun?" Well, I as the writer can affirm that! :D Looks like we have a destination, so Coeus takes manual control of his spaceship again and puts Planet Asofhertz into his ship's navigation system.
As they're approaching Planet Asofhertz, Coeus notes: "My spaceship is picking up a strong radiation, seemingly coming right from the planet's core. I think I can safely conclude that whatever kind of radiation is coming from the core, it's probably related to the spacetime distortion in its atmosphere, which means... this distortion is gonna be the strongest at the core." Tethys says in response to hearing all that: "Good thing we don't have to worry about radiation poisoning since we're doomed to die anyway, haha!"

Planet Asofhertz has a metallic looking surface but with various holes in the ground as cave entrances to underground. The ship lands here and the spacetime distortions already mess heavily with the navigation system. Good thing they don't have to get back off here again.
But they quickly notice not being alone here, as they quickly find themselves approached by what looks like two meter tall and therefore waaaaay oversized tardigrades aka water bears, but with things resembling long antennas coming out of their bodies along their back. Coeus, being mostly a biologist, remarks: "I'm not used to see animals looking like that without using a microscope.", before the male anthro moth adds, realizing: "Quite fitting to this planet's name... the many antennas of these uhh... tardigrade-like creatures probably allow them to receive all kinds of frequencies. In other words, if my hypothesis is true, there's almost no point in hiding from them, assuming those antennas are as well developed as I suspect." "Good to have a nerd like you with us!", Tethys states. The animals get closer. Pallas then brings up: "From what I've studied, they have evolved to be a lot more hostile on this planet.", making Oceanus sarcastically remark: "Finally, some good news!"

When one of the giant tardigrades is then attempting to attack them, Pallas pushes it away with psychokinesis, though he can already tell he can't keep everyone safe from this many enemies... well, not like this, at least. So Pallas then transforms into his twenty meter tall Angel of Death form, complete with the red glowing halo, the six wings and the eye-covered golden wheels hovering at each of his sides, to keep the creatures at bay, not harming any of them though, since he is still a pacifist. This allows the others of the group to get down into one of the holes to get underground.

There, Charon states: "I'm glad we could get out of this first instance of danger here this quickly!", though Oceanus reacts in a confused manner, replying: "Uhh... what do you mean, Charon? It felt like it took a whole hour to get from the ship to this underground cave." So Coeus brings up: "Don't rely on your sense of time here. Like, not at all anymore. It'll be fully unreliable when time is as distorted as it is here, with the relativity of time making each of us experience it differently... as we just witnessed. Now... Let's progress deeper into the cave, I can see a path leading downwards." At least Planet Asofhertz isn't huge, so that they can get to the core within a reasonable time. Well, okay, with time already acting weird, that's probably not the best way to describe it.
However, it doesn't take long until Oceanus gets stuck... since he is very big and the cave isn't entirely big enough for someone of his size. He tries to squeeze through, but in the process of that causes a piece of rock to break off and fall right onto Dione's head, killing her instantly. Looks like we'll have to try that again!
