Khahla Horizon-Watcher, my new pathfinder character, performing an occult ritual.
The ritual's got nothing to do with spirits or the dead. Khahla is simply pestered by the ghosts of distant relatives who are constantly wanting a favor or trying to bum a smoke (even though they don't have lungs anymore). And when you learn your magic from ancestor spirits, it does tend to turn out looking spooky no matter what you're actually trying to do.
My roommate did the sketch, I scanned it and added a bit of color.

Sorry for the late reply, but yeah. I'm really liking that Pathfinder 2 gave gnolls a new name and new culture beyond "raid, steal, eat, take slaves."
Actually, I strongly suspect someone on the design team may have been fans of Ursula Vernon's comic "Digger" - though it might have also been a case of convergent sociology. I immediately picked Witch when I read about the bone-readers and saw a description that they treated ancestral spirits like squabbling coworkers rather than revered elders. Unfortunately hitting people with a flail, as a Kholo Witch, is turning out to be very suboptimal choice mechanically.
