Basilisks are predators that even the most skilled hunters do not underestimate. With their climbing skills and possibility to drop on top of their prey, only to deliver a paralyzing bite - only a fool would get into a fight them on their own terms. The best weapon is being observant - notice scratchings on the trees and keep your eyes trained up, it just might very well save your life...

This particular six-limbed fellow is a Smoke basilisk, or Smokelisk, subspecies that lives primarily in the Western parts of the Continent of Midrast Wain, and tends to form groups of up to 5 individuals, lead by a single dominant female. Alone they are formidable foes, but fighting an entire pack is definitely not advised.
