Snail Lore:
-They can remove their shells but slime oozes from pores in their backs and skulls
-Thus, the 'hair' is also slime
-The slime is a singular form. It can get on things but only if the snail lets go of it from the rest of the slime. Detached slime washes away with water and is non-toxic.
-Their antennae have eyes at the tips that can see in the dark, but these antennae don't have eyelids... so they sleep with two eyes open...
-They can withdraw into their shells - inside the shell is a pocket dimension that they have control over and live inside.
