Once the son of a wealthy, but humble merchant, Mako had to flee his way of life when his father died under mysterious circustances and the people close to him
disassociated themselves to save their own hides. Only his mother remained at his side, as they fled their homeland to one of the many remote rebel villages.

Fate was hard on him, as his mother grew ill. Medicines were rare and expensive, so he made the choice to voyage out to sell his prized possessions, a pair of
broadswords made for him by his father.

In journey, he was swallowed by a portal and met a very strange group of people: the shaman Takoda, a lizardman named Natek,
and a self-exiled avian princess. Takoda was embroiled with a civil war with his own people fighting for the new world they were in.
Mako would soon help the shaman restore order, as well as encounter a strange liquid element that bound itself to him.

Takoda would supply Mako with medicine and gold for his aid, before the latter would use a portal to return to his homeworld.

Mako's life, as well as his mother's, would stabilize in the years to follow. In that time, he studied himself of the element he encountered in the new world.
He found out it could grant some hold of reality to whoever absorbed it. Wanting revenge for what happened to his father, he wished for a weapon that was hard
to see, yet cut like a fine blade. It would not be long until the fine threads of his clothes beckoned to his whim. It would be many years until he mastered this talent.
Not only would he use the thread as a weapon, but to also augment his senses through the thread's vibration.

Once Mako's mother passed on, he fully committed himself to Minzhe's rebel group, rising through the ranks until he became Minzhe's day-to-day informant,
as well as bodyguard, but he does so being many yards away, in a crowd or where he cannot be seen.

Even with his powers, he can feel the elites have mustered something greater, something he knows he is no match for. For now, it remain a war of attrition.

This is actually a rough project I did (thus the rough lines), but I still wasn't able to meet my personal deadline so I kept it. It's also me practicing with my drawing tablet.
I wanted to show off Mako's body with the conical hat off and without the rain cape.I actually want his ears to peer through the hat, but that defeats the purpose of wearing
said hat.
