What a sweet story! I loved it. I like how it tries to share a nice message and is very furry at the same time with events shaped by species and them talking about tails and such. The place they were talking in was nice too to imagine.

So often in your stories there is this theme of driving in a car as a way of venting emotions. I wonder if you have done something like that in your life at least one time, lol. Probably just in safer way.

The problem with money is when living the simple life isn't enough and it means uncomfortable poverty without possibility of really satisfying your needs. It may require everyone to care about others, instead of only a small group.

And it was fun to have mouse return in the version with the second-hand clothes haha. Learning that lesson is like a transformation with visible change of appearance.

You're not wrong with the issue living the simple life can get uncomfortable with poverty. I was going to show how the community survives by helping and embracing each other, but the closest I got was a glimpse of it with the coffee shop owner telling the bear of the person watching him. I didn't show that interaction on the page, but hinted at it. Originally there was going to be more, but this story was already getting long!
