Back in the Asphodel Bibliotheca, Dione realizes: "What... I... I can't find that important information what to do against Cronus in my head... even though I'm certain I heard it from Coeus during that life I just went through." Persephone also states: "Huh, that's weird.", though now Dione is starting to get suspicious, wondering: "Hey Persephone... Why... Why are you actually here?", to which the anthro deer replies: "To be a guide for the Asphodel Bibliotheca, simple as that."
And that's when the six magicians finally get to her. Club tells her right away: "You must be Dione! Look, you're the only one capable of giving people from your universe, our universe, a chance against Cronus.", with Jolly adding: "Poseidon tried to reach you, but couldn't... it seems fair to assume that being in this library prevents that contact." "Wait... the library is an obstacle in this? But I can literally use it to find an alternate way to get the information to Coeus.", making Spade point out: "It works via multiverse, right? Of course there's some universe out there where you get that.", before Ace joins as well: "Won't she still have to find a way to get it to this Coeus guy even with the info Poseidon told you to give to her?" "Y-Yeah...", Heart says, "But... maybe that's just a risk the bad guys take to keep Dione distracted?..." So Dione now realizes: "A library containing every possible way my life could have gone... and with how unlucky I tend to be, of course it would be expected that I'll spend a lot of time here... Actually catching onto something being wrong was never part of the plan of... wait, Persephone?"
"Ah well.", Persephone remarks, "Yeah, I didn't expect Cronus to start erasing universes, to be honest. Kinda made it difficult to keep you distracted from pursuing a solution, but now that you caught on, at least I don't have to pretend trying to help you in that regard anymore." Before Persephone can do anything about it, the magicians now quickly give Dione the info Poseidon wanted to get to her. Now they just have to figure out how to get that info to the Coeus from the universe they're all originally from.

"You...", Dione then states, "You're one of the bad guys. All this... was never to give me a taste of how my life could have gone if things went better. It was always... just about keeping me busy. How fortunate for me to be so unlucky that... there were this many things I wanted to see play out that I never got to see play out otherwise." Persephone shrugs, remarking: "I'm a bad guy? Depends how you define bad, heh. But yeah... since I can't properly deny it anyway, I admit that I'm a follower of Cronus. I believe he should be the one in control of his universe, no matter what it takes... yes, even if infinite people get killed in the process." "Yeah, no.", Diamond complains, "That's messed up. Nothing can be worth that." The anthropomorphic deer with Asphodel flowers growing over parts of her body also lets them know at this point: "I made sure to help Cronus by blocking the info from getting out of any of the universes, with this library really just serving to... well, you guessed it, to keep Dione distracted for long enough and to keep Poseidon from being able to directly contact her. But there seems to have been... an oversight... since it doesn't prevent any info getting into a universe. However, hehehe... I gotta point out, it's funny to me that you managed to get Dione to be in possession of this vital information without having any idea how to get that to Anomaly Universe Coeus."
Though Dione states with a bit of a grin: "The Coeus from my life as a married woman is already on the way. I just need to find the life where Coeus gets that figured out, so that my self in this library can remember it. After all... you only helped Cronus with preventing the info about a way to stop Cronus from getting out, right? So this does not apply to info about how to send info into a universe." "Ugh...", Persephone seems annoyed, remarking: "Yeah, there's a few oversights. I ain't Coeus, I can't think of literally every possible loophole in this. But... you didn't win yet... and I, hehehe, I'm already intending to fix this, for which, you know, I'd preferably not have any of you get in my way."
Confirming the implied intention to handle things more directly, Persephone's paws seem to already be in the process of preparing an icy attack. Dione tries to feel what life contains her getting info about how to contact the Coeus from her original life, but notices not being able to just feel it anymore. Persephone must already have taken that ability away from her just as easily as she gave it to her. "Go on.", the villainous anthro deer provokes Dione, "Find the life where you get far enough. Prepare to die many times during that, hehehe... You'll fail to find it before I've made sure Cronus becomes truly unstoppable, you know how often things go wrong for you in your lives after all, hahaha... And you, magicians, prepare to die right here, where nobody will ever be able to find your cold lifeless corpses left behind." "I'M GONNA KICK HER ASS!", Diamond is as ready for getting aggressive as she has always been. Meanwhile Dione picks up a random nearby book, simply hoping for the best. The Asphodel Bibliotheca is fading away more and more, with the erasure of it not being far from reaching them.

Now in a life where Dione chose to step aside in case rock would break off and fall down, that choice saves her life... for now. "Guys, I'm... too big.", the gigantic Vaporeon acknowledges, "Keep going without me! You've got to reach the core before every universe where that is achievable ceases to exist!" The group simply nods in understanding, moving on right away, as they really don't have much time to lose. At the same time, on Planet Asofhertz's surface Pallas in this Angel of Death form is keeping the Tardigrade-like creatures busy, as the group still continues to get deeper downwards, the group now consisting of Dione, Coeus, Tethys, Charon and the robot anthro moth child Higeki. On their way, the female anthro moth notes: "You know... it seems like... no matter what I achieve, it all ultimately means nothing... Everything I care about ends up being something I lose. But... this is about something way beyond just my own life, though... how much I have of what I can reasonably call bad luck...it still hurts." "Well, I'll stick by your side as long as I can.", Coeus tells his best friend, "And I'm sure your husband will be there with you until the end as well." "You can count on that!", Charon affirms.

As the group keeps going deeper, the cave walls begin to start looking like glitching out a little, resulting from them slowly approaching the planet's core that's messing with the spacetime contiuum within its radiation's reach. Dione accidentally touches the glitching cave walls, resulting in herself glitching out in a way that her own time is getting sped up at an insane pace, making her grow old within seconds and die from reaching old age and therefore death afterwards at an insanely fast speed. "What the hell...", Tethys vocalizes the shock they all have from witnessing this.
So we're back in the library, Persephone fires an icy beam at the magicians, though Club quickly makes sure to get in the way to be the only one to get hit, getting frozen instantly because of it. However, Diamond doesn't hesitate to break her free using her own horn right away, with Persephone now firing a bunch of orange and brown leaves with sharp edges at them to hurt them. Meanwhile Dione tries to take advantage of Persephone having multiple targets by taking another book, hoping it to get her further this time.
Dione manages to barely avoid accidentally touching the glitching cave walls. Coeus remarks that they should probably be careful about that, not knowing in this universe what effects it would have on them if they glitch out from interacting with that.
