It's been almost a year since I updated my website! I've been working away from home until March, and then I was busy with distance learning. Yet again, I've done no real art, but I made the effort to make a Flash MX animation.
Started from scratch again, I wanted to do a loader that was similar to the ZX Spectrum/Amstrad CPC. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge to create fast scrolling, random horizontal bars, so I took the Flash tutorial from www.lukamaras.com, explaining how to create random coloured bars, and went from there. I also had to create two new ways that image data would 'load' onto the screen [it's very code intensive to do the retro line-by-line method], so I tried an RGB method, then a code-output-code-output-etc. method. Hope you like them :)
The images are a 'coloured' version of tsukinoodle's latest work [of her and I kissing] and a greenscreen version of a work I was given years ago. Note my crude attempt on the ZX's attribute-clash.
This has been put on DA [and FA] because it's easier for people to view, plus they can download it for viewing without spiking through code. I'm not putting this on Creative Commons, because I'd like people to ask permission if they want to do anything related to this :) Plus the greenscreen algorithm is a secret I'd like to keep ;)

Thanks, but I somehow feel I could have done better. Flash MX is very spare on the effects, and I'm sure I'd make convincing scrolling colour bars if I had a good effect to do such a thing.
All the same, I worked hard and thanks for acknowledging it ;) Flash is much more fun than VB6 :p
