This bike has been four years in the making, and still needs refinement. Photo was taken about a third of the way through a 40 mile trip I took today through south dartmouth and westport mass.
Bike is a columbia ATB with a fresh rim on the front, Maxxis Hookworm Tires, Midrise handlebars and a cheapie fatass seat.
Motor is a starfire 58CC first gen driving a 36 tooth sprocket. Heavily ported internals, ported carb, ported exhaust. Marginal bottom end power, with phenominal mid and top end scream. High compression head is on the way, with a planned Exp chamber exhaust and dellorto/Walbro carb.
Eventually I'll just replace the cylinder with a puch metrakit. =D

After a long summer of riding, the chrome started to chip and peel off the cheap china cylinder, and the bottom end is toast. So, it's in need of a new motor. And the frame's been swapped. So has the exhaust, head, tires... Okay, I piece by piece replaced the whole bike.
And the Metra wasn't tried, but a Hero Kit was. Ports were too huge at the cases, stroke was different and wrist pin was different, BUT I suspect that trying a Tomos A3 kit from Airsal will fix 2/3 of these things. =3
...But yes, it more than likely will fly apart. I've mostly moved on to motobecanes.
