"Benevolent" is a strong word; my demons are definitely driven by self-interest. But yeah, being nice and offering their services to mortals is a great way to get what they want! No one's going to give their soul to you if you're just mean and evil. Plus it makes for fun, enjoyable stories. Glad you like it!
