For these artworks of my friends characters and mine, I never had established any concrete information on the characters' stories, nor did anyone ask me to draw anything specific, more just drawing whatever scene that came to mind. So for every image of this modern universe, I leave it up to interpretation for my friends to make up the stories and background for these characters.
So these two could be lovers, roommates, or just friends staying over the other's house.

It is a lovely and quiete scene.
Also carefull or the food will be lava.
Out of the joke the rice, with safran and the fire of the stove bring a touch of warmness that come to contrast the cold colors of the appartment.
