America The Beautiful Sample Two
First of all, I'm getting over a cold, so I am in horrible voice.
Just an update on what I'm working on. Several points:
I will likely put this down a full step, as it was hitting the very top of Stargazer's range, and I don't want to do that.
The balance is way off, I know. Dynamics will be corrected later.
Playing around with a backup chorus in the fourth verse.
I've left off the big ending, and I'm not done with the 4th chorus instrumentation.
Constructive criticism highly welcomed.

You couldnt hear the instrumentals at all. The vocals kinda drowned it out so it sounded Ocapello (I probably spelled that wrong).
The vocals were slightly shakey, but that is understandable because of your cold. Perhaps transposing it down a few semi-tones will make it sound better with your voice.
The end is the only part where you could hear the instruments at all.
The ending was extremely abrupt and left the lister saying, "what happened?". haha
Thats the only critique I can give. But I will say that you did a good job re-composing the vocals.
Has potential.
Keep it up!

I am assuming that as Dipper sings, Stargazer joins in, then in the third section the entire audience joins in and sings along with them. At least it sounds that way at the end. I think you might have done the right thing in switching the background music to a different version (I didn't want to say anything bad when you made the first take, since I'd never heard of the first version you made at all. It sounded alien.)
