Attack from 2022!

This was my revenge attack on Art Fight for https://www.furaffinity.net/user/kristintree/

It is a scene from her comic - Lu is getting help from Mro, so she can shapeshift into a dragon.
Mro loves to mess with Lu from time to time, so he previously actually convinced her to get a tongue piercing, saying it is required as
a critical part of shapeshifting into a dragon. The salt lick would help counteract any infection.
In the scene depicted, Liel is surprised that Lu took this step instead of just using a mask, as this is a valid alternative to the piercing.

This was based on the very first story script excerpt KristinTree shared with me pretty much a year ago, when we first started talking and getting to know each other over Discord.
I always loved reading about and watching her characters in the scripts and thumbnail-comics she shared with me!
This one stuck with me not only because obviously I love drawing fancy attire like Lu has in this scene, but also because being the first one, it gave me a first little insight into KristinTree's gigantonormous creative mind ^^

Throughout the past year, we've been talking about all sorts of things, bouncing character and story ideas off each other, having laughs and just having a great time together! She has been such a valuable person in my life ever since.

The animation (GO CHECK IT OUT <3) she did for me just had such a great mood and vibe to it, I feel like capturing such emotion into art is still very hard to do, especially for me. So I just hoped I could help myself out drawing what I usually can draw best - a cute little scene with a bit of adorable derpiness to it ^^'
