You know...I really hope you redesign other Pokémon in the future. I adore both the Dragonite and now New redesign. I genuinely look forward every two weeks or so for another page from you and I look at your page probably more than I should hoping something new pops up that I like XD
And if anyone gives you crap for redesigning Pokémon because "it's not the originals!" Don't listen to them. They forget that when Game Freak released Pokémon Green and Pokémon Red in Japan a lot of the designs were VERY different. THOSE are technically the originals and there's a reason no one uses them.
I really like your mew redesign! I'm trying to think whether I like that redesign more than the dragonite redesign and... I can't decide, both are so good! The dragonite redesign makes them actually feel like part of the evolutionary line, but you've used the mew design really well, really packing in so much expressiveness to them.
I mean, I'm biased here. I like when Pokemon feel more animal-like.
Mew seems so chill about legendaries helping people turn into the shape that seems right for them. I wonder just how often they get requests of the various sorts. And, I wonder how often they get requests from Pokemon to turn into different Pokemon? If they're getting requests from Pokemon to become human, I'd imagine at least some Pokemon feel their evolutionary line isn't right for them.
