For the life of me I have not a clue as to what one looked like. Got to love the Intertubes, I looked it up. A beaver with a round tail. She looks like a reasonable facsimile of same, given the toonification.
At one point Muskrat was permitted for Lent as they were considered "fish" along with the capybara.
