Made some progress with finishing the piece, while working on the lineart I ended up giving a shading method a try and ended up having fun with it so it just took over the original sketch. While it probably isn't the final version, I enjoyed it enough that I felt I could put it up as in inbetween from the sketch and the final version. Still not sure about the pattern of parts on the body, but I'll figure it out eventually.
