You know, I always wondered how Balla got that name. And why does she sport that outfit?

Well Balla got her name from her parents, but from me it was more so a simple name, same with her sister Belle.

And she wears that outfir because the shirt is stretchy so it fits her form better then other shirts do. As Balla is a bit on the chubby side of things. She wears jeans but theyre also of a lighter variety to make getting into them easier as well.

Also its comfy for her too

I try to put thought into all the characters i make, it helps to have information of them, even small things. Incase anyone asks questions im always happy to answer.

And i came up with her mostly cause i wanted to practice drawing both
a) chubby characters, so i made her to practice and
b) because i also wanted practice redrawing a character, i only really ever drew characters once and just moved onto another. So i wanted a character i could be comfortable drawing over again. Balla is simple in design enough i can continue to draw her more often then others.

You know, that’s pretty interesting. I think you have done a great job with your practice so far, and it seems like Balla was a successful design since you can still draw more with her.

Why does she stutter, though? That’s the last thing on my mind. Again, thanks!

She stutters a lot because she's always very nervous, Balla tends to have anxiety more then others and worries a lot. Paired with her shy nature means she stammers a fair bit while talking
