With the Stonehenge base defanged, the hostages are released. Apple Kid informs Ness and the gang that in order to win over the Tendas cooperation they'd have to track down the book 'Overcoming Shyness', conveniently located in the local library in Ness's home town. Upon finding the book, they travel back to the Tenda village and teach them how to communicate with others. They then enlist the aid of a super strong tenda to launch a rock into the stratosphere.
