Egg and Legg are based on an old Tumblr post that described them as "cryptids of opposing powers."
I was really inspired by Vossanova's art of the two - as well as all the other beautiful DTIYS entries.
I thought about what these two creatures might get up to, and so I came up with a bit of lore to go with my entry. if I ever find the time and motivation, it could be fun to make a short comic of them interacting with humans.
