Albert (or Al for short) Foxx is Kalv's father who serves as the main antagonist in Kalv's story. While he comes across as warm, soft-spoken, charismatic and welcoming at first glance or facade, deep down he is a strict, persuasive, sneaky, cunning, stubborn, intelligent, sly and manipulative fox. Albert, while a well respected entrepreneur who is all-business, is no stranger to partaking in darker and shady tasks behind anyone's back with his assistant and fellow co-worker Susie on his side. They essentially the stereotypical depiction of foxes in media. He and his son don't see things eye to eye due to their own beliefs so they disagree with each other on a lot of things.
He is greedy, biased and egotistical. Albert doesn't really care too much about the well being of others, only caring about himself most of the time and how he can make a profit off them due to his greed. Unless it affects him and his business, then he is willing to change his persona and act of being kind and friendly before shifting back to his real personality quickly. As a perfectionist, he expects everything to be perfect and spot on no matter what. Despite being a somewhat calm and stoic guy, Albert gets easily annoyed by people who don't appreciate his work or respect him. While he can be not so respectful and uncaring of others at times due to his huge ego and need to indulge his desire for money, he seems to get along very well with his wife, his other kids that aren't Kalv and his assistant Susie.
I thought Jonathan Freeman, the VA of Paimon & Cash Buckzo in Helluva Boss and Jafar from Aladdin, would be a good fit for Albert because I like his performances as those three I mentioned earlier.
