People who know me for a while know that I have a thing for cool looking insects. Therefore I couldn't resist picking up this adopt made by XennaDemonorph
I just think they are neat!

This is the description written by XennaDemonorph on their own submission about this cute creature. I think it is very cool and might keep the descritption as it is:
Frightening with its chirping mandibles, it seeks out vulnerable victims among the forest thickets.
A creature that came to my mind when I was considering insects for processing bones. But this specimen especially likes to absorb treated tanned\mummified skin. It requires relatively little food to maintain its activity, so Leatherdevourer prefers to leave its venom-stricken prey to "smoke" in one of its nests of bark and vegetable oils suitable for mummification. Only then, after the prey has sufficiently absorbed the aroma of the nest and dried, Leatherdevourer will start eating.
