Elbammalf is a Western House Drake, and doesn't have wings. But being a dragon, he really likes fire.
So when Alf heard about things like 'fireworks,' he wanted in on them. Discovering that they were high up in the air, as you can see, isn't going to deter him. The skyrocket he's lighting with a little spit of flame isn't that big (he's only fifteen inches tall), and he's looking forward to an exciting, if brief, trip.
