Jaspher

Jaspher is a planetborn arachnit. Growing up with Mark, he learned the ways of magic. He became a sorcerer and an alchemist. The two were quite close as friends, practically brothers. While Mark decided to join the space military, Jaspher stayed home and became a traveling merchant, selling all kinds of strange and unusual things, including potions and artifacts that are supposedly "cursed."

Growing Up

Jaspher was always an oddball, scaring away others and being a bit of an unhinged weirdo. He had a luxurious upbringing and was practically pampered, always getting everything he wanted. He studied magic alongside potions and was always fascinated by the "abnormal." He welcomes the strange.

Personality

Jaspher is impulsive and strange, always displaying a whimsical smile. He can be mischievous, knowing the effects of everything he displays and sells, but he won't tell you! You should know to keep your hands to yourself, after all. If not, you may find yourself at the mercy of not only the cursed artifact but Jaspher as well. However, he's not entirely evil. He won't display anything he can't reverse. Jaspher has taken his alchemy so far that he has altered how his venom works, causing whoever he bites to swell into blueberries. He loves messing with people and especially loves messing with humans.

Morality

In terms of morality, he's in a way Mark's counterpart, but he's a bit of a middle ground. Unpredictable and always keeping you guessing. Is he on your side or the bad guys? Who knows. Business is business.
