Il Canto degli Italiani (Italian National Anthem) for Perc.
I missed the day by over a month because Italy's national day is June 2, just as ours is July 4 (yesterday) and Canada's is July 1, but I still decided to do this all-percussion arrangement I had been wanting to do for a while now. This is Italy's national anthem, "Il Canto degli Italiani."
My take is for:
3 glockenspiels
3 sets of crotales
3 xylophones
Tubular bells (chimes)
4 vibraphones
7 marimbas (2 grand staff, 2 treble clef, 2 bass clef)
Xylomarimba (grand staff)
4 sets of steel drums (soprano, alto, tenor, bass)
Timpani
2 sets of hand bells (playing grand staff)
