No template hun. It was built up from the beginning. I wanted to try something different. I found i really like building pendents up from scratch. It makes it feel more my own.

I can do..Just about anything. I know there's a limit out there Somewhere, I just haven't found it yet.

However, a lot of the steampunk stuff I do Is rather..pricey, mostly because of the time it takes for the whole thing to be done.

That butterfly one goes for 70.00 The tiny gears came from a vintage pocketwatch, the larger gears from Tim Holtz [lovelovelove his stuff!]

Well, I would definitely say if it's steampunk, it'd have to have gears, and moving might be neat. Though as for the rest of it, I'd want something that's 'me', cept I don't know if there's anything that specifically defines 'me'. ;)

I think most people are turned off by it's price. It used to be 95.00 now it's 65.00 I really cannot bring it down any further. After all, it took a long time to make, and I used most of my gears at that time.
I think also most people might find it to bulky to wear. Although.....it Would work as a show piece! You know those butterfly displays with the pinned butterfly? That could work with this. Would make an interesting wall hanging.

This was one of my favorites ever, and I'm slightly amazed it never got sold! O,O I Might however put it up for auction. I dunno yet. I'm glad you like it, this was so much fun to do. In fact I'll be working on another steampunk butterfly over the next few days ^__^

I think you should put it up for auction, but have a sort of, reserve price so you don't lose out :3
