Yikes! Looks like your swelling’ ain’t slowin’ down, pal! Your on your own now - I think I’m gonna find a safe place to watch this, like say… Jupiter! Hm… Still a little close though, better be safe than sorry, the Planet Pluto’ll have to do! And you can bet your bottom it’s still a planet, 100% - I mean, sure, the telescope I’ll be watching this wideload through takes up half the Northern Hemisphere, but it’s still a planet, gosh darnit!

Here’s a commission from a month or two back for the ever-lovely Bluey , featuring his human fellow getting nice and round on the red planet. This series is based off an old SEGA platformer called Escape from Mars, starring Taz from Looney Tunes, which has a good amount of shrinking and growing powerups inside, which served as a good inspiration for the idea. The backgrounds were a whole lot of fun to be sure, the vibrant color palettes were very nice to experiment with! Truth be told, I hadn’t really known about this game prior to working on this commission, but it looks like something that’s very much up my alley. I’d probably give it a spin if I could ever work and emulator haha - all that aside, a big thank you to Bluey for commissioning me for such a fun idea!
