The other commission for my friend 
bfl ,who is one of the A & Q fans I correspond with regularly.....He gave me a very interesting challenge.....find a way to do a crossover with A & Q and another FURRLOUGH series he enjoys...Stylewager and Greg Older's DRAGON QUEST(of which I'm a fan, as well )....A challenge indeed,since A & Q has a "Modern/real world" setting,and DRAGON QUEST is fantasy/sword and sorcery....So this was my solution....Alex and Denise having a night out to go to the movies....and what's playing? DRAGON QUEST: THE MOVIE!....I also decided to pay tribute to two other FURRLOUGH series....Christina "Smudge" Hanson's EBIN AND MAY,and Chris "Kelvin the Lion" Farrington's WHOMPER....I really enjoyed doing this piece,and I think it came out quite well...I also plan on submitting it to FURRLOUGH as a possible cover.....Oh! Almost forgot...Alex and Denise are actually going to see the EBIN AND MAY movie...Alex decided to surprise Denise because he knew it's one of her favorite novels (In my universe,EBIN AND MAY is a classic work of literature on the level of Jane Austen or Louisa May Alcott)....Ace and Queenie c. myself,Dragon Quest c. Stylewager and Greg Older,Ebin and May c. Christina Hanson,Whomper c. Chris Farrington.....Everybody's rights are reserved....No stealie!! ^ ^

Anyway, excellent job, Rusty! Specific comments:
a. Alex and Denise are so disgustingly happy together.
b. It's nice how you were able to integrate Ebin and May into the "real" world of Ace and Queenie. I hope our heroes enjoy the movie, and that they'll at least consider seeing Dragon Quest and Whomper when they're not busy saving the world.
c. Speaking of Whomper, I like the detail of the sleazy-looking, cigar-chomping pig checking out his poster.
P.S. To Kumbartha: You should think twice before taking on Ace and Queenie. If you're foolish enough to attack them anyway, I'll see you in the emergency room--if you're lucky.

I think this piece is great and I wonder if you can get permission from BFL to send this picture in as a cover for Furrlough. They are always looking for good cover art and having a cover that works for the stories in the book itself makes for a welcome change of pace :)

That should give FURRLOUGH a welcome boost. Like Dragon Quest and Ebin & May, but don't care much for Whomper, though. It points out to what I had written to you earlier about some of the artist Radio Comix is getting to keep a title afloat. You're a needed help for them.

wow this is really incredible. gives the feelings of the 70's and thecoloring is excellent. i ve never seen such gud work like this in a while. plus the characters look suited for the person themselves. i like how its bright and it really stands out. your fit to be a cartoonist. really really realy great work
