Røyk (Rake), aka "The Watcher in the Darkness", was seen as a keeper of secrets and patron god of thieves and the unknown. After all, his realm was that of smoke and shadows. As long as either was present that whispy god could either be summoned or enter into the mortal world. He was as malevolent as he was benevolent as his sought to either meddle in the affairs of mortals to benefit himself un some way. Whether it meant helping one village and snuffing out another was inconsequential to him. Any bargain or pact with him was always made with caution as the God could simply choose whether or not to keep his word. Trusting him was at one's own risk but if you gain his respect and earn his favor, then he would become a dangerous foe to one's enemies.
