Two shifts of basic airbrushing finished (one front side. One back side) with dry time in between.
Today I'll sort them into pairs (since they are handmade, they vary slightly one to the next so I want to make sure I match only the most similar pairs up), attach them to elastic headbands, and then do all of the detail work one-by-one.
There are 11 pairs here plus my 'artists proof/proof of concept prototype' which makes 12 in this batch.
(the artist's proof is a completed item to refer to to make sure I do not get off track in completing the rest)
I'm expecting to have them all finished and shipped next week.

It's hard for me to say.. I'm doing these now because my hands are tied on some other work I have and I'm not sure yet when I will be free to work on that or if I will go straight into another ear/tail preorder instead.
At the moment I can only say that it will not be before July, and I will know more at that time :p I'd certainly love to open a fox ear/tail preorder this year in time for Halloween so, if anything, that's what I'll be working towards - open in July then work on them in Aug (my September is booked) and ship early October. But that's far from a promise at this point.
