(And...eh, I don't think AR and skeeve have to go hand-in-hand; it's just an unfortunate fact of the Internet that they often do. There's certainly a lot of weirdness baked into the premise, but I think it's entirely possible to create things in that vein that are merely weird and not skeevy. But then, I'm the person who wrote an ovi-themed story specifically to prove to myself that that could be sweet and wholesome...)
