I was fiddling around with an AU where Emily falls and needed some angst for her character. This is what I landed on as a piece for her downfall. Also, she is depicted as having short hair when she falls in multiple concepts, so the scissors are there, as she is about to cut her hair. Also, hair-cutting is considered as a form as self-harm, so there's that, too.
