No, this is not Son Goku's Sona, this guy is the mascot from an Ice Cream product from when I was a kid, now that brand was bought by Heartbrand (but clearly there is a Dragon Ball inspiration).
This fella was one of the two characters who inspired me with anthro characters. Nowadays I think they made a rework to this character and he is still a lion, but not a boy anymore, a grown up instead and a kind of explorer or Archaelogist. Maybe I will draw that version one day.
