Trigger here ran into a bit of trouble after successfully defending the 444’s air base. They pushed their plane (a barely holding together MiG-21) way, way too hard. Said plane gave out on them while attempting to land. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he had to ditch as the ejection seat was no longer functional. And just to rub salt into the wound, after being rescued he’d be sent to the debrief immediately. As in, not even having time to take off his still inflated life preserver. Leading to a rather embarrassing debrief. Certainly not the best first impression.

A bit of Ace Combat fanart. Not too surprising considering there is a decent amount of artwork of Trigger as a furry (I mean, just look at his emblem). Thought it’d be a humorous scene and I’m pleased with how it came out. I am actually working on a short story to go along with it and originally planned on that being the description. But it’s taking a bit longer than I thought it would so that’ll be a separate upload whenever it gets done.
