For over a thousand year, the Aquilan army proved to be a formidable treath, they expanden until the 1600s when they reached the borders of Empire of Cetus, Antares Imperium, and Imperio de Grusa.

They decided by the 1700s only to act in self defense. When Cetus invaded, the war ended into 3 years of stalemate, which Cetus decided to negotiate.
Antares and Vega decided to invade Aquila as well, only for Vega to lose 1/3 of their land and Antares losing all of it's Prairie lands and some of it's coastline.

In 1887, Antares invaded again, only to be defeated by a much smaller Aquilan army.

These sucesses convinced the Aquilan only focusing on defensive staregies, and disregarded any other form of warfare. (Which was a HUGE MISTAKE)

In 1912, Antares invaded, but this time, Antares was well prepared to face Aquila and their Ring of Fire( ring of fire contains trenches, artillery, pillboxes, forts, bunkers)
When Antares brought their armored army into the frontlines, Aquila major lack of Anti armored weapons saw them losing ground rapidly in 2 years Due to their lack of defenses againt armored Aquila had to rely on artilery and AT riffles (took 20 shoots to destroy a tank)

By 1914, the last remnants of the Iron Army was defeated around the Capital city of Volcrus

Some facts

-Iron army is an Army made up of volunteers only (which meant they had one of the smallest armies in the world)
-the average troops had training for surviving in the Hot prairie biome for many hours daily
-The aquilans only begun to properly modernized by mid to late 1913
-Aquila was the most fortified nation in the world
