So… I’m guessing she never expected he got isekai’d but in a very very long delayed respawn time to where she already messed up her past life and now in her new current life is coming back
Shame we won’t know more about Stanley’s wife back in the previous life after what happened, but I’m sure it’s the same as the last one: full of regrets

The odds of:
Convincing a married woman to get hanky-panky with
Get them divorced
Get broken up with the ex-wife
Kill the Divorced man
Live your life (gonna assume age 26) in jail and died for one count of murder
Get reincarnated with the same woman you got with
Live and Grow up to adulthood
Only to meet the same guy you off still the same age and memories
And I can only assume this is a grand total of 100+ years for her but an afternoon for him
Accounting all of that, that's some very slim chance that I think the gods are just playing UNO on the side with another sucker

Well, Stanley was somewhere in his 30s when Lilly killed him. He was the same age as Carmelita and Lilly's previous lives. So he was reborn the same physical age as Carmelita and Lilly when he became a Decider. One count of murder can get you 25 to life. Depends on the context. Lilly didn't plan to kill him. But it was done with clear opportunistic intent as she ran over and shoved him in front of a moving truck. Any prison psychologist could tell that. And other shit happens in prison. Their healthcare sucks too. So how long Lilly survived in prison isn't known. Just that she died there. And yes, the gods did this as a bit of a cosmic karma joke. Especially to Lilly.
