While Todd was dealing with his own issues in his office with his awesome girlfriend Darlene, his ex Anya, and his sexy secretary Jackie, Adlai was working around the house wanting to make sure it was nice and tidy for the smaller canine couple.
She had the news on for background noise when an interesting news piece came out from the White House.
Adlai: "I wonder what this is?" As she sat down on the couch to listen. President Wheeler, a strong, handsome lion with a pitch black mane had signed a new executive order and was now giving a briefing on it.
Adlai: "This ought to be interesting, master seems to like this man."
President Wheeler: "Hello everyone, as you know there is a shortage of men in this wonderful country. This problem has lead to an abundance of single women by comparison. I'm well aware there are plenty of women that are more interested in a career rather than a finding a man. But to this is more for the ones that do want to settle down. I have signed an executive order to help alleviate this discrepancy. All men over the age of eighteen are now compelled to have more than one girlfriend, wife, or significant other. Marriage to multiple partners is legalized as well. The number of partners will vary depending on how wealthy you are, for example: if you have less than $75,000 in savings you can have up to two. But if you are a multi-millionaire or above you can have up to seven. If you are a billionaire the maximum is 10. Robots do not count towards your limit if you have one for companionship. I will now be taking questions from reporters."

Reporter #1: "Mr. President, what about LGBTQ+ couples? Will they be able to take on extra partners as well?"
President Wheeler: "Yes, provided they follow the same financial limitations as listed previously."
Reporter #2: "And what if an existing couple doesn't want to add any extra people, will they be forced to do so?"
President Wheeler: "That's a stupid question, of course it's not mandatory. But it's available as an option to them if they want to do it."
Reporter #3: "Mr. President, when will this be taking effect?"
As four elegantly dressed lionesses walked out and put they're arms around the president.
President Wheeler: "Right now, no further questions." As he walked off stage with them, sporting a smile.

Adlai: "Odd, I wonder what will happen with this." Within five minutes the doorbell rang. "Now who could that be?" She opened the door and was greeted by a slightly sweaty Vera Agapov, the extra large polar bear friend of Todd's.
Adlai: "Hello, how may I help you miss Vera?"
Vera: "Hi! *huff* Maybe? Is Todd in by any chance?" She said with a goofy grin on her face, panting a bit from running here.
Adlai: "I'm afraid he is out right now, though he may swing by on his lunch break. Why? Do come in though."
The ponderously pudgy polar bear wiggled her extra wide hips and rear through the doorway.
Vera: "Did you see the message from the President?"
Adlai: "Yes actually, I assume your visit is relevant to that?" She said with a smile.
Vera: "Absolutely! Y-you don't think I'm too big for him do you? It's just... he's the only guy that doesn't seem frightened of me and my size." She said nervously.
Adlai: "I'd say you aren't too big, my master is used to a bit of dange-" The doorbell rang again.
Adlai: "Do excuse me miss Vera." As she went to the door, finding an obese bunny babe.
Adlai: "Hello? I am afraid I don't have your face on file, who are you?"
Whitney: "Oh, uh I'm Whitney Lilar. I'm a friend of Todd's, we hang out at the game shop... and at my place a few times..." She said blushing a bit.
Adlai: "Whitney... Oh yes, he has mentioned you. He neglected to mention.. Never mind, I assume you wish to see him about the message from the President?"
Whitney: "YES! I mean yes ma'am, he is always very kind when he sees me. And he doesn't look at me like a piece of meat either. Treats me like a real lady he does."
Adlai rolled her eyes: "Come on in, seems like he's going to have a bit of a surprise when he gets home."
Vera: "Oh? I've seen a bunny your size before. C-can I brush your fur? Normally I don't get to be near rabbits."
Whitney: "Um, sure? If I can brush yours afterwards. Why don't you go near rabbits?"
Vera: "For some reason a lot of bunnies think I want to well... eat them. Not that I ever have, or ever would! I'm big but I'm as dangerous as a marshmallow."
Whitney: Kind of built like one too aren't you dearie?" She said playfully poking Vera's belly.
There was then a third knock after these two hit it off as fast friends, Adlai deflated a bit and said to Vera: "Should I see who's there, or pretend I didn't hear that?"
Vera: "Go ahead and open it! The more the merrier." As she was brushing Whitney's fur.
Adlai: "Very well, but I'm locking the door after this one. I'd like my master's pelvis to remain in one piece or, however many pieces it's supposed to have."
She opened the door and found Xiyue, the pretty panda masseuse whom Todd escaped from earlier.
As well as her friend Khatara the bountiful Bengal who was also looking to get into bed with the little dog.
Xiyue: "Hello there, oh... I didn't realize it was going to be this busy. I I can go."
Adlai: "Come on in, but do please lock the door. At least I know for certain that you are gentle."
Xiyue: "Are you sure? I I don't mind to leave. I wouldn't want to be a burden."
Khatara: "You heard the lady! Get in there girl! Say, mind if I come in too? I'm not as gentle as Xiyue, but I'm just as fun."
Adlai: "Very well. Come in miss Anand, miss Cheng. Everyone, make yourselves comfortable and I'll go get some snacks from the kitchen."
Khatara: "I'll help you, this big 'ol Bengal knows her way around the kitchen."
She then went to the kitchen with Khatara, and wondered if her master was going to be excited or have a heart attack seeing this many women waiting for him. !!!CRASH!!!
Adlai: "Do you need help up miss Anand?" She said to the tigress who had tripped and landed on her titanically tubby tushy.
Khatara: "Nah, just give me minute. I'll be okay, used to this by now."
If she only knew what he was dealing with right now....
