Lark is a distant and meticulous creature. She has few friends and she does not like to talk about her family. Only those closest to her know about her deeper secrets. You could say that they are antisocial. She likes to be alone and spend her days reading and researching. Things of the spiritual, occult, and philosophical are of her main interest, and she has an uncanny obsession with anatomy and muscle. Well, in her words- "some may say uncanny, I call it natural curiosity."
Aside from her more macabre tastes, she does enjoy things like botanical care and baking- from afar. She personally does not trust herself to be invested in such demanding hobbies- but this comes more from her insecurity as a living being with a natural proclivity to care and create. Her shadowy facade is to hide her own fears and crumbling anxieties, which she barely knows how to articulate.
Such insecurities run deep and through several aspects of her existence- such as her presentation, her mindset, and her perception of gender. They view themselves as a conduit of energy operating a husk, and this conduit happens to love all things dark- or that's what Lark likes to think. They crave light and care, some semblance of belonging. Even if they may not realize it, this want bleeds through in many moments where Lark feels passionate about something or disappointed by something.
