True, it would have made more sense to have Luna instead of Nightmare Moon, but I guess Nightmare moon is the closest Luna has to a 'Celestia mode' now.

as interesting as it would be for a kind of 'actiony' magical induced show would be fun, but I have no problems with these slice-of-life scenarios. Apparently I did hear rumors about touching on the whole Nightmare Moon thing in Season 2.
then again, a show like this I believe is meant to envision some of the old shows without an over arching plot and didn't wanna delve too much into a kind of storyline structure.
