Here's the finished cut of the fox project. I know it's reversed now. The WIP pic was taken from the back of the piece because the pattern was still on the front. ^^; This one is also finished only with polyurethane, and as soon as it dries a coat of wax too.
The scrap piece I tried the stains on didn't look very good with the grain. :/ I think the grains here look like shadows from the trees, so I'm actually pretty happy with how this one turned out. This will be in the Anthrocon art show along side my other works. Again not sure on a price, and I intend to make a frame with it too once I get the wood.
