This was the first drawing I made of what is now my fursona, Sunny Haven! Though this version had no name at the time. The old fursonas I had (including Jamie Goodan) stopped feeling like me, especially when one of them became a fictive for Fennikal. They began to feel like simply characters, not a vessel that represents me/who I want to be. So I made this dragon!

I looked pretty different than how I look now as I was still figuring out how I wanted to express myself. I also was male, as at the time, I thought I just wanted to be a femboy. Probably the thing that bugs me the most about this version of me are the ears, they don't look similar to a cat's ears like how they do in every other iteration of me. Oh, and the outfit but that's somewhat of a given, sometimes the outfits I picked worked really well and sometimes they were just terrible lol.

This was the slow start of me realizing I was trans, as it's with this fursona I started exploring my femininity and gender identity more.

Finished on July 2, 2020. Done on MediBang Paint Pro with the Wacom Intuos S.
