The moodboard had a mysterious dark gothic cowboy, a dark horse with fiery colored mane and taiI, and an eclipse. I added the eclipse/dark moon theme to the wings and the marking, the sorta mysterious hidden look of the hat, I added to the dark marks around the eyes

And, as an easter egg, there's a small nod to Stolas since he likes that character a lot (And I don't blame him, Stolas is adorable even if he sucks at communicating xD)

For colors, I decided to somewhat emulate the horse, giving it that warm fiery look contrasting with the dark. They are quadrupedal here, but they are able to stand comfortably on two legs and use their hands, which are quite anthro in shape.
