I removed the fox ears from my helmet some time ago because they got too dingy looking due to my own negligence.
When I was at the Sequoya Birthplace Museum Thursday morning, I saw this really nice fox hat for only $12.50, so I bought it. It does have eyes, you just can't see them in this photo.
I decided that I would attach it to the same helmet the ears were attached to. I used velcro at the back, sides and front plus some Permatex Silicone (really tough stuff) at the front to help ensure it stays anchored to the main velcro patch at the front.
Unlike the helmet with the ears, which were stiffened with coathanger wire, this will fit in the storage space under the seat and the wind won't be pushing back on my head at road speeds.
When I had the ears on that helmet, I got lots of amused reactions from other drivers and I'm hoping this will have the same effect.
I'll make sure to take care of it by cleaning it and trying to avoid wet weather. I do have another helmet I can use if I think it's going to rain.
EDIT
It took about 7 minutes for this to show up on wtf_fa. Is that a record?

EDIT 2
I removed it from the helmet near the end of May.

OK disregard this if yer just a human-power biker or a scooter.
Take that crap off your brainbucket. Not because it's dumb, because if you come off a motorcycle and slide wrong, that fur and whatnot is gonna catch and grab pavement rather than slide smoothy.
Here's your example. You go OTB and slide facefirst, a smooth helmet is just going to slide across pavement. With that head glued on, it's gonna catch and snap your head forward.

I doubt that it will catch on the pavement any more than any other helmet part. I am having second thoughts about it due to not looking so good. But the reason I stuck it on there is to get a reaction out of other drivers like the ears did when I had them on there. So I''m waiting to see how much of a reaction I get before deciding.
I have a raccoon tail on the back of my helmet. I get a lot of fun reactions. I've actually been considering doing something similar to what you did here with a giant tiger plush that I have. was going to use the body as a seat cover and trail the tail off the back. (It's a honda scooter, so you'd be able to see it a little better) Anyway, have fun!
