At this time, there were some online friends who were in a really tough place financially who I had been helping out for a while, and who were looking for a new place to move. I offered my place and was panicking a lot on whether or not I'd be able to do a good job (spoiler alert, those friends deemed the place too unsafe and inaccessible for one of them, so they went to New Jersey). One of them would end up being my roommate about two years later in a condo for about a month... it didn't work out at all, for the same reason of the place being too inaccessible for her (as well as some other reasons I won't go into).
