Today’s your first day on your new job working with the corviknight taxi service. You were kind of confused as to the listing but, you shrugged at the time and signed up regardless, needing the money. And when you arrived, one of the workers headed to direct you to a small field in the back. Where, to your surprise, was a… corviknight suit? Why would they give you a suit of a corviknight to wear? When you asked about it, the employee shrugged, saying it’s your uniform. Looking closer, it appears to be about the same size as a regular corviknight, around 7’03”. Or 2.2m. It also appears to be made of really high-quality materials as well, with a zipper right on its back, including its head and neck. In fact, outside of the zipper and how it isn’t moving, it looks very lifelike!
You rush to put it on, starting by putting your hands in, and pulling yourself in from within… Not really noticing the feeling of soft feathers at the tips, and not noticing how you can’t feel the cloth and instead feel the wind and metal armor… You don’t notice you can’t feel your arms anymore either, just feeling the sort of metal shoulderpads all corviknights have…Next, you begin to step your legs into the suit’s legs, which are surprisingly comfortable despite being digitigrade… They feel nice and snug against your legs, and you don’t realize it, but… you can feel the outside of the suit, the dirt beneath your talons as well as the wind touching the scales of them. And that digitigrade stance is oh so comfortable, isn’t it?
Next up, you move to pull your torso in, gesturing with your head for the staff member to come and help zip up the suit… And as you do, you can feel a sudden weight as the suit is zipped, feeling your new feathers and the steel of your armor. Feeling a comforting sensation behind you as you realize those tailfeathers of the suit are now real. Excited, you try to move your head into position, noticing that your eyes seem to see far better, fitting a corviknight, got to be able to see in the dark AND light after all. You can feel that heavy steel helmet like it is but a lightweight blanket on your head, and you feel your beak, clapping the bill of it together in joy. You can feel something put onto your leg as the zipper gets zipped up fully and seemingly vanishes for now, specifically, a tag saying corviknight suit, belonging to corviknight taxis’ with the wearer section having your name on it. Seems your ready for your new job now, even if its not the one you expected! Maybe you’ll be hoping to keep the suit off shift soon enough!
