This is a commission, continuation of a piece I did time ago for
He sent me this story he created for the picture!
___________
This continues the work began at I'll change my ways and be a good dragon. See that page for the work it extends.
This scene would be on the facing page, with the art at the bottom of the page.
Gustav now found himself subduing mighty Desmond with his bare hands. He increased his speed and motion, raking up and down both of Desmond's soles.
Desmond continued his silent laughter, his whole body drooping and shaking. After some time, he collapsed on his left side. He did not have the strength to hold up his body to kneel.
Gustav had waited years for such a moment. He walked around Desmond, and placed his foot on Desmond's neck in triumph. Desmond looked up now, helplessly. Gustav drew his sword...
...and looked at the dragon child in his robe. He looked down at Desmond, and sheathed his sword.
Gustav the warrior would slay a dragon; King Gustav would not slay a helpless opponent and a child. He accepted Desmond's request and his surrender. It would not be easy, but they would look after the baby and Desmond would have his chance.
The story now continues on page 12/195 as before.

Capturing that moment where maybe for a second Desmond thought that perhaps the sword might be driven into his throat, though it would be a far more ruthless or cruel man than Gustav whom would go through with that, when a dragon had already been subdued via tickling his very sensitive scaly feet.
A wonderful follow up to the previous commission with the combination of your artwork and accompanying story by amblesbear.
